The Event
The event was held at the beautiful Mandarin
Oriental Hotel located in Columbus Circle. When I walked in there was a center
table set-up (pictured above) and when I sat down they began to play an
informational video for me that pretty much explained the background of the
company and how it came to be. (See below for detailed information on the brand
and the products. ) After the video finished I was escorted back to the suites
wash room where there were two licensed estheticians (Trudi Jaye www.trudijaye.com & Klara Chrxusxox www.klarabeautylab.com) set-up to
perform facials with the Clayspray masks. Ironically my love Gregorie of HueKnewIt.com was just finishing up in the second chair as I
sat down to begin my facial (hey-girl).
Trudi began by cleansing my face by
first spraying it with the Clayspray H20 Spray with Green Tea. She asked me
some questions to help determine which Clayspray mask would be most beneficial
to me. After telling her that my skin was just recovering from a BB Cream
reaction and that my skin is sensitive she suggested that I try the White Clay
and Aloe Vera mask because the aloe vera would soothe some of the irritation
from my post BB Cream mishap. After my face was cleansed she applied the mask
and let it dry for about 10-15 minutes. You’ll be able to tell when it’s dry
because the mask will completely change colors (to a light grey/white color).
After the mask dried Trudi placed a hot towel on my face to help loosen up the
mask. She then used the towel to wipe the entire mask off and finished off with
a moisturizer AND even a lip gloss (lol).
Now directly after the facial my skin
was super irritated and had a lot of red spots, which I know is something that
a lot of people experience post-facial. However, during my hour and a half
commute back home from the event the irritation had eased slightly and I was
left with this...
In
addition to the amazingness that was my glowing skin, I also left with this
lovely parting gift to try more of the Clayspray

I'm writing this post a week later and my skin still
feels extremely hydrated, smooth and is still glowing.

The Products: A Deeper Look...
Formula:
The Clayspray range not only removes impurities and
environmental toxins but also puts back in by nourishing skin with minerals to
help prevent ageing. These minerals include silica to boost collagen, calcium to promote
healthy cell regeneration, potassium to help lock in moisture and iron &
magnesium to activate circulation and encourage healing for an overall
anti-ageing effect.
To deliver these minerals and additional
natural ingredients deep into the skin effectively, Clayspray’s formula is
enriched with macromolecular hydrogels that are able to obtain up to 800 times

Packaging:

dispensing mechanism has been designed to ensure the clay does not dry or clog
the pump to easily dispense your clay mask. These design features and formula

Final Thoughts
After leaving the Clayspray event and waking up the next morning brighter, hydrated
and a more even skin-tone I am officially a Clayspray fan. It is not a huge commitment, simply 10-15 minutes
once or twice a week will get you leaps closer to the skin you want. I would
definitely recommend adding a Clayspray mask
to your weekly beauty regimen.
