HERE TARGET - JUST TAKE MY MONEY

Over the past year Target has really stepped up their game when it comes to offering affordable AND fashionable items for kids. Thanks mostly in part to new vendors like Art Class and Cat & Jack. The last time I walked into a Target looking to buy clothes and shoes for my kids I walked out with a $1,000 bill! lol I spent so much money in there they sent me coupons in the mail the same week. But how could I not splurge when they've got items like this...

BACK TO SCHOOL MUST-HAVES WITH KIDSSHOES.COM

We are one week into August and I have already seen a few first day of school posts on my timeline. Is it just me or has summer flown by this year? Seeing a few people post about Back to School has forced me to start searching for #BacktoSchool items for my little ones. During my search I came across this awesome site for kids shoes called KidsShoes.com. They have sought after brands like Sam Edelman, Michael Kors, and Badley Mischka. What's even better is these brands have styles that have been exclusively created for KidsShoes.com so you can shop with confidence that your child will stand out.

KidsShoes.com carries shoes for infants, toddlers, and youth all the way up to size 5 for both boys and girls. My two favorite trends this season are the Fur/Pom-Pom trend and the Creeper/Thick Sole trend which this site has a ton of. My two girls have the Michael Kors Sid Leo and the Sam Edelman Liv Sneaker; I can't wait to send them off wearing them.

In honor of the Back to School season KidsShoes.com is also giving your kiddies free school supplies with each purchase. This includes a folder, ruler, notebook, pencil, and eraser.

So, what are you waiting for? Shop Now! and tell them @LondonRockMom sent you. :)

** I'll update this post in a few weeks with my girls wearing their shoes**

WEEKLY STYLE LUST: HENRI BENDEL INFLUENCER TOTE

WHY I'M LUSTING
Emojis, patches, and pins have been all the rage this Spring/Summer 2017 and it doesn't look like the trend is going away anytime soon. I'm loving this new Henri Bendel bag because the optional accessories allow you to add your own personality to your bag. I especially LOVE the black/white vertical stripe detail - you can honestly never go wrong with black and white.

This new bag just launched this week and is just in time for Back to School. Now, you might be thinking what this bag has to do with Back to School? Well, it has a really spacious interior; perfect for the miscellaneous things that get tossed in your mom bag during the school year (juice boxes, permission slips, etc). Check out the interior....

I don't think we even need to discuss the strap.

MEET THE AKKADIAN CANDLE COLLECTION

There's something about a great smelling and looking candle that for some reason sends women in a frenzy. That's sort of what happened to me when I scrolled through Facebook and my eyes were greeted with the aesthetically pleasing candles of The Akkadian Collection. Currently the brand has four collections:

GARDEN OF EDEN
A collection inspired by the hanging gardens of Ancient Mesopotamia, this collection presents vibrant colors and contemporary adaptations of traditional Iznik ceramic designs dating back to the Ottoman Empire. Each ceramic container is hand painted and reusable and every candle is hand-poured by an Iraqi woman artisan.

TRADITIONS MADE MODERN
The traditions made modern collection features a contemporary custom design inspired by the artistry of ancient traditional metal work. The hand-hammered copper container brings a modern aesthetic to a classic Mesopotamian craft. Re-purpose the container to add a beautiful touch to any table, kitchen, or any area in your home.

ELEMENTAL EARTH
This collection is inspired by the rippled patterns of the the desert landscape offering swirling, neutral colors that will complement any room decor.

BLUE TESSERA
This collection is inspired by the tile design of Ancient Mesopotamia and combines classic mosaic patterns with contemporary color and form.

While the containers that house the candles are absolutely beautiful I didn't find much in the way of what scents are available for these collections. It'c unclear as to weather there is one scent across each collection or not. The "about" section of their website mentions a "light desert rose scent".

PROPERITY CATALYST
Another thing about this collection that stood out to me aside from the beautiful packaging was its partnership with a non-profit based out of Boston called Prosperity Catalyst. This non-profit invests in women entrepreneurs in regions of conflict and natural disaster. This collaboration is also backed by the U.S. State Department.

WEEKLY BEAUTY CRUSH: SALLY HANSEN X CRAYOLA

WHY I'M CRUSHING
This week Sally Hansen released its latest bold and bright collaboration with none other than, Crayola. The collaboration is a part of my favorite Sally Hansen line, the Insta-Dri series which dries in 60-seconds flat. The quick drying feature is a necessity for a busy mom like myself. The 12 colors range from a saturated red to a muted white.

WHY YOU SHOULD BE CRUSHING
Just in time for the Back to School season to start, this colorful collection is reminiscent of the crayons we all know and love. If you have a girly-girl on your back to school shopping list this would be the perfect addition to her list. The quick dry time will make it easy to switch out colors as quickly as these kids come out with a new app these days. The colors include:

WEEKLY STYLE LUST - SOPHIA WEBSTER

WHY I'M LUSTING:
I mean what is there not to love about Sophia Webster? From the bright colors to the print and material mixing and the little added details like the kissing flamingos seen above. The best part is that many of the styles come with a matching pair for your mini. The price range is little above my comfort level but it's not completely out of range if you are looking to treat yourself.

WHY YOU SHOULD BE LUSTING:
Take a look at some of my faves and then I'm sure you'll feel the same:
